“The Body is Art” Movement Workshop
As part of twigs’ album rollout for Eusexua and an extension of her partnership with On, FKA twigs brought “The Body Is Art” campaign to life through a day-long training workshop on the top floor of a FiDi building. Overlooking the Manhattan skyline, FKA twigs taught a special group of creatives (DJs, dancers, stylists, artists) The Eleven, a series of physical techniques that FKA twigs developed as a means to self-healing. FKA twigs personally curated the day’s lineup in collaboration with On, inspired by her new musical era and personal wellness routines. Professional body builder Shelly Mensah taught guests to do the splits and backbends, whileTwigs’ choreographer James Vu Anh Pham taught a section from her “Striptease” music video followed by a healthy lunch courtesy of Medical Practitioner Jemma Mayo.
We coordinated the VIP talent logistics for Twigs and her instructors, ensuring that all talent had a seamless experience at the workshop.
